- Oral sedation – The least invasive form of sedation dentistry, oral sedation allows you to take a pill prior to your treatment. This pill will help you relax, allowing you to overcome the anxiety associated with your dental appointment
- Intravenous sedation – Intravenous (or IV) sedation can be used if a patient does not have a fear of needles. Similar to oral sedation, IV sedation involves the administration of drugs to relax you. However, IV sedation works faster because the medication is dispensed directly into the bloodstream.
